This deal is built around holiday hams and whole birds. If you want a turkey breast or plant roast, talk to the Fareway meat counter. They offer custom cuts at everyday prices.
If free turkeys run out, customer service can issue a raincheck slip. This slip lets you get the free bird when the next truck arrives. Always ask at the service desk before leaving.
⚠️ Holiday Inventory & Thawing Window Notice
Frozen turkeys require approximately 24 hours of refrigerator thawing for every five pounds of meat. Pick up your holiday bird at least four days before Thanksgiving to allow safe thawing. Grocery freezers empty quickly during Thanksgiving week, so shop early.

Shopper Savings Strategies for Fareway Meat & Grocery
Follow these practical shopping tips to maximize your savings on Thanksgiving dinner.
Stack maker coupons with store deals
Bring paper maker coupons for foods like stuffing mix and canned corn. Maker coupons save cash on food. They do not lower your qualifying spend total.
Earn fuel rewards on holiday food
Many stores offer bonus gas points in November. You can earn fuel points on your grocery trips. These gas points save cash at the pump while you shop.
Clip digital coupons before checking out
Clip the digital coupon in your store app before you get in line. Cashiers cannot add digital coupons at the checkout lane. Always check your app account before you pay.
Pick up your bird 4 days before Thanksgiving
A frozen turkey needs one full day in the fridge for every 5 pounds of meat. Pick up your bird by Monday before Thanksgiving. This gives the bird time to thaw safely.
💡 Deal Stacking Strategy
Combine manufacturer paper coupons with weekly grocery store discounts to reduce your out-of-pocket costs. Manufacturer coupons count toward your qualifying grocery spend total at most supermarkets. Review our holiday grocery budget tips for more savings tactics.
